Potomac Jewish Community Email List is a mailing list for issues of interest to the Potomac Jewish Community. Need to buy, sell, borrow or have something to lend or give away? Post to this list. Important announcements, community events, requests to say tehillim for someone ill, local news or any matters of Jewish communal interest are appropriate if there is a tie to the local Washington area. There have been many messages that people have wanted to post that just weren't right for the Potomac email list - they didn't have a local connection. These ranged from general messages about support for Israel, US politics, people who own Israel apartments looking to rent them, general Jewish fundraising causes and so on. All important, but the folks on the Potomac list have asked it to be kept low volume and very specifically local. We all already get elswhere many of the news articles or solicitations you may want to forward. So I thought this Web site would be a good place for those more general messages. I will link back to this site in all the emails going to the list, so folks who are interested can click through to see them.

So post away in the comments here. And remember, if you are hosting the fundraiser or there is a local Washington link, feel free to email it to the list (join per the instructions in the previous post.
